Who We Are
ACN Silks is a leading producer and supplier of handwoven silk sarees, now venturing into the retail market with the concept of "HANDLOOM TO HOME." With a rich tradition of over 80 years in the silk business, ACN Silks has a notable history. Late Sri Chikkamuniyappa, a prominent silk provider to expert weavers in the 1950s and 1960s, played a significant role in the company's legacy.
Taking over the business, Mr. A.C. Nagaraju, son of Late Sri Chikkamuniyappa, established 50 handlooms on his property in Hindupur, Muddireddypalli. He provided free housing and power to the weavers, fostering a supportive environment. During 2004-2005, Mr. A.C. Nagaraju served as the handloom head of Andhra Pradesh. Currently, ACN Silks employs 80 handloom weavers, with some of them having dedicated over 30 years of service to the company.
It has always been ACN Silks' aspiration to provide high-quality silk sarees directly to end customers at wholesale prices. ACN Silks now has two branches, with the primary branch located in Hindupur and another in Bangalore. The company is SILK Imprint and Handloom certified, recognized for its commitment to quality. The Bangalore branch, situated in Indiranagar, showcases a delightful collection of designer Indo-western outfits made from natural fabrics like Khadi, Cloth, Cotton, Ryon, and more. In essence, ACN Silks is a comprehensive destination for natural fabrics at wholesale prices.
The stores offer a wide range of silk varieties, including Kanchivaram, soft Silk, raw Silk, Kalamkari on pure silk sarees.
